Iron Bill Inspire WOD
By 5-5-5 Firefighter Fitness
On September 25, 2013, we are encouraging every firefighter and every person who loves and admires firefighters to join us in a special workout.
This workout is to inspire and motivate Captain William Dowling, his wife Jacki, their children and the members of the Houston (TX) Fire Department. On May 31, 2013, the Houston Fire Department lost four members in a motel/restaurant fire. During that fire, Captain Dowling was critically injured, requiring the amputation of both legs. Captain Dowling is still in the hospital recovering from those injuries.
This workout is not about collecting money, it is about providing inspiration.
We are asking that you take pictures and/or videos of you and your group doing the workout, then post them on the Iron Bill Inspire WOD Facebook page. There, Captain Dowling, his family and members of the Houston Fire Department can go and view the ongoing support and love we all have for our injured hero. On those days that are especially hard during his recovery, he need only go to the page to find inspiration to continue to fight.
There will be an “Iron Bill” category, a “Jacki” category, also a two-person and four-person team workout category (to inspire the firefighters of the Houston Fire Department). You pick who you want to inspire and get busy working out.
THERE IS THE CHALLENGE – DO THE WORKOUT!!!

DO IT WHENEVER YOU CAN AND POST YOUR PICTURES.
