Working the System
Last week, I was honored to be a guest of the Wylie EDC and to hear U.S. Olympian Johnny Quinn speak at Project U 2026, put on by the Burleson EDC at Pathway Church.
Something Johnny said summed up FireBoss Realty’s system and business practices perfectly. He shared that in the NFL, he learned that the best of the best master the basics. He said, “There are no secret mastery plays; they are all basics that were mastered.” They repeat the fundamentals with precision until they operate at the highest level.
That reminded me of a sign I saw hanging in the Dallas Cowboys locker room at the old Valley Ranch training facility. It was given to me and is now hanging in my office.
