The vision of 1 Night to Unite began when local pastors and ministry leaders in the Wylie area began gathering to pray together nearly five years ago. These leaders, from a variety of churches, denominations, and backgrounds are united by their faith in Jesus Christ. Through years of praying together they have formed relationships, prayed for each other’s churches, and sought God’s will for our community. Imagine a community where churches didn’t feel competitive but cooperated with one another. Imagine the impact on a community when Christian neighbors live together in unity despite attending different churches.

You are invited to join us this Friday April 18th
at the Wylie High School Football Stadium.
The Gates Open at 6:45 pm and the Event Starts at 7:30 pm.
Cost: FREE
The event will open with an awesome worship service led by some of the best worship leaders and musicians in northeast DFW. Followed by the powerful testimonies of Chris Plekenpol and Jeff & Cheryl Scruggs.
Chris Plekenpol graduated from West Point in 1999, Became a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and became the Executive Officer of an Airborne Calvary Scout Platoon. After taking command of Apache Company, 2-72 Armor, his company was deployed to Iraq. His men played a key role in assisting the 1st Marine Division in taking Fallujah in November of 2004, in the first free elections in Iraq in January of 2005, and in securing the highway that connected Fallujah and Ramadi.

Jeff & Cheryl Scruggs are the founders of Hope Matters. Their ministry includes sharing God’s heart for marriage and relationships through biblical counseling, writing and speaking. They passionately seek to help make marriages whole in His power. Jeff & Cheryl are intimately familiar with a marriage focused on the principles of the world, the sting, heartbreak and pain from a divorce, and the deep rooted hope and joy of a fully restored marriage centered on God. It is this unique perspective and experience that they obediently share in Biblical counseling and with audiences nationwide.
