Am I Pregnant?
Free Pregnancy Testing
Possible Signs and Symptoms of Pregnancy:
You may find yourself experiencing some common pregnancy symptoms. These symptoms will look different for each person and can also be caused by factors unrelated to pregnancy.
- Missed period
- Tender and swollen breasts
- Nausea
- Increased urination
- Fatigue
How Pregnancy Tests Work:
When you conceive, your body produces a hormone called hCG. With time, the concentration of hCG increases in your system. Urine pregnancy tests detect the presence of hCG. If no hCG is detected, the result will be negative.
When to Take a Pregnancy Test:
It is best to wait until after a missed period. This allows the hCG hormone to increase and be detected by the pregnancy test.
What the Results Indicate:
If your test result is positive, an ultrasound will answer important questions about the pregnancy.
If your test result is negative, it is important to follow up with your doctor to determine the cause of your symptoms.
